K. Wah Group's quarterly newsletter K. Wah News recently garnered the Gold Award in the Employee Publications: Newsletter category at the international Astrid Awards presentation held in New York, USA by MerComm Inc. The esteemed judging panel from all over the world commended K. Wah News for its communication excellence which made it stand out in 500 entries from 14 countries. The publication was also praised for its successful definition of K. Wah Group's unique identity as a long-standing, yet vibrant, enterprise with multinational presence.

KWIH's website garnered Silver Award under the category "real estates" in 2009 Mercury Awards. It won recommendations from the professional judging panel with its clear-cut interface, top-quality photos and concise messages which provide interactive contents to various users and strengthen the KWIH brand effectively.

KWIH 2008 Annual Report received Silver award for cover photo/design and Honors award for interior design in the globally recognized 2009 Annual Report Competition ("ARC") with distinctive design and effective communication strategies, which enabled it to stand out among 1,800 entries and won the international awards for the third time.

KWIH was awarded the "Charitable Enterprise" from Wen Wei Po, for its active participation in community services. Dr Che-woo Lui, chairman of the Group, set up Lui Che Woo Foundation and joined hands with Ministry of Education in support of the education development in mainland China over the years.

Shanghai Westwood II of KWIH earned numerous accolades including "2009 Most popular property in Shanghai", "2009 Choice of elites", "2009 Golden Ox Award", "Property with highest investment potential" and "Property providing best living experience". The award accredited the outstanding quality as well as sales performances of Shanghai Westwood II that won positive comments from the market

Shanghai Westwood II has been selected as one of the 2008 Ten Most-preferred Property Projects in Shanghai in recognition of its unique design and outstanding sales performance. The top ten list was compiled on votes collected from the internet, print media as well as a show flat visitor group.

The Great Hill won the Top Ten Property Layouts Awards 2008 while J Residence received both Top Ten Property Sales Brochures Awards 2008 and Top Ten Property Marketing Awards 2008 in the HKIS Property Marketing Award Ceremony 2008. KWIH is again recognized for its quality property and design by professionals.

Dr Che-woo Lui, Chairman of KWIH, was elected the Business Person of the Year 2007 in the DHL/SCMP Hong Kong Business Awards, for his prominent business and social contribution to the further development of Hong Kong.

K. Wah was elected a High-Flyers Outstanding Enterprise for its Hong Kong property business by Hong Kong Business in two consecutive years, in recognition of the high quality and goodwill of its projects.

KWIH was awarded the Business Superbrands for its Hong Kong property business, as the first company to receive this prestigious accolade in the real estates sector in Hong Kong.

K. Wah was the only property developer in Hong Kong to receive the award of High-Flyers Outstanding Enterprise by Hong Kong Business, which demonstrated the market's recognition of our strength and professionalism in property development.

KWIH won the 14th Asia Pacific Interior Design Awards (APIDA) for J Residence showflats.

Shanghai Westwood (Phase I) received numerous accolades including Shanghai Quality Model Development (2006/07), CIHAF Top Project (2006), Consolidated Gold Award of the Most Popular Project in Shanghai (2006) and Gold Award of the Best Residences in Saving Energy & Land and Quality Planning & Design (2006)

KWIH Annual Report 2006, following the success in previous year, won the Bronze award in the Overall Annual Report: Real Estate Development/Service category of the 21st ARC Awards competition in New York.
