Dr Che-woo Lui, the Group Chairman, pledged a donation of MOP30 million to the University of Macau via Lui Che Woo Foundation on 12 April 2010. The donation allows the university to extend new campus in Hengqin, Zhuhai, and to establish scholarships and exchange programmes.

On 23 September 2008, K. Wah Group Chairman Dr Che-woo Lui made a donation of HK$30 million to Fudan University in Shanghai for the renovation and expansion of Zibin Building, which after renovation will become the office tower for Fudan’s central administration, renamed as Che-woo Building. The Fudan K. Wah Day co-organized by the Group and Fudan aimed to bring about synergy in talent nurturing through school-enterprise partnership.
