KWIH organized a training workshop for managerial grade staff with an aim to
strengthen their management skills in May 2011. The participants were guided to make use of the Enneagram to understand more about themselves as well as others, learning how to accommodate people of different personalities so as to enhance cohesion and team spirit. |

KWIH organized the Baduanjin course in April and May 2011, providing a good opportunity for staff to stretch their muscles and improve health through simple exercises. Staff and their family members and friends later enjoyed a relaxing Saturday afternoon together during the bowling day in June, practicing their bowling skills with coaching from experienced trainer. |

A walking team of 4 members from K. Wah Social Club joined MTR Race Walking in April 2011. They started their 4x100m relay on Chater Road, Central, to demonstrate the health benefits of walking. The fund raised will be sent to Hospital Authority Health InfoWorld to support its work on disease prevention and health education. |

Echoing YMCA of Hong Kong's idea for toys recycling, KWIH called for toys donation among its staff from February to March in 2011. KWIH's volunteers cleaned and delivered the donation to the toy bank accounts holders, who are mainly underprivileged children, to redeem toys if they complete a stage of their personal growth plan, for example to volunteer for community service. This environmentally friendly initiative truly manifests the essence of "sharing is blessing". |

With its members’ relatives and friends, K. Wah Social Club gained sponsorship from the company to be among the walk teams in the Community Chest New Territories Walk for Millions in February 2011. Along the 5.5 km route, the party took the first step from Pak Shek Kok Promenade to Tai Po Waterfront Park. The raised funds will be designated to support 27 social welfare agencies in providing children and youth services. |

Human Resources Department of KWIH hosted two seminars on Youth Aspirations and Essential Habits for Effective People respectively in February and March 2011. In the former seminar, the representatives from Bauhinia Foundation Research Centre shared with the Group's management an analysis of the Post 80s' and 90s' mindsets and appeals, hoping to promote communication and coordination among colleagues of different age and background. The latter seminar, aiming at junior staff, featured with group activities in a relaxing setting to highlight the importance of team work and work efficiency, while passing on the spirit of K. Wah. |

Collaborating with the Ministry of Education of China since 2005, the Group's renovation and construction programme of 122 schools in Mainland China came to fruition in 2010, with a book titled Ai Shang Xue <<愛上學>> covering the touching stories of the beneficiaries published. The books were given to teachers and students in addition to business partners to share the fruit of the five-year programme while encouraging more people to support the good cause.

A variety of training and hobby courses were offered, to name a few, property management training programme, snowy mooncake class, Mid-Autumn festival gala, yoga class, creative drawing workshop, happy fruit day, CNY daffodil planting class.

KWIH Shanghai Property Division held a staff gathering in Qingpu, Shanghai in summer 2010. The staff had a nice time relaxing in natural surroundings while connecting with peers. The event helped build up a stronger sense of solidarity among the staff and allowed them to appreciate the corporate value and philosophy, fostering unity for greater success in future.
