In 2018, the panel received approximately 1,500 entries from Europe, the Middle East, Africa, America and Asia-Pacific regions.

KWIH has been awarded the Hong Kong Economic Journal (HKEJ)'s Listed Company Award of Excellence 2018 - Large Cap. The award is proof and recognition in the financial and investor sectors toward KWIH's continued pursuit in quality and excellence, exceptionally strong financials and outstanding, stable performance results. The prestigious Listed Company Award of Excellence aims to recognise outstanding listed companies in the capital market. The shortlist is further reviewed and assessed by fund managers, investment and stock analysts. Data used during the assessment is audited by Deloitte. A motion entitled "Improving Design Standards for More Effective Use of Resources - With the Aim of Increasing the Supply of Small / Micro Residential Units in Central City Districts to Curb Property Prices in the Long Term" submitted by Mr. Tang Yu-chung, member of CPPCC Jing'an District Committee, Shanghai, was named an Outstanding Motion of the First Meeting of the First Session of CPPCC Jing'an District Committee by the Committee on 9 January 2017.

Mr. Tang, Assistant General Manager (Marketing and Sales) of K. Wah (China) Investment Co., Ltd., has been closely tracking Shanghai's housing market and land supply. The Phase 2 of J Metropolis, a large-scale quality residential project in Huadu District, Guangzhou received the Residential Community Award recently from Guangzhou Property Management Association. KWIH garnered the Most Promising Award at Top 100 HK Listed Companies 2014 ("Top 100") on 13 January 2015. The award is jointly organized by major financial media Finet Group and Tencent Holdings, and was endorsed by a judging panel consisted of renowned finance scholars, analysts and stock commentators. This is the third consecutive year for KWIH to be awarded in the Top 100 award scheme. The Most Promising Award looks for companies with business expansion and profit growth potential by considering factors such as net profit margin, return on equity and revenue growth.

K. Wah's exemplary efforts in enhancing the retirement benefits of our employees within the year was recognized by the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority as Good MPF Employer 2014/15.

Silver Cove, KWIH's signature riverside project in Dongguan, was awarded the Golden Landmark in Dongguan in the Golden Lion Award 2014 by Information Times and was named the Star of Luxury Residence in Dongguan by Fang.com, a renowned real estate online search engine. Meanwhile, the project company, Guang Yu Real Estate Development Co. Ltd., Dong Guan, won the Most Innovative Real Estate Companies in recognition of its constant pursuit for innovation and excellence in quality which set the trend of modern living.

KWIH's 2013 Annual Report won the Silver Award under the "Real Estate Integrated Development and Investment Category" at the 2014 Annual Report Competition Awards (The ARC Awards). Conveying the KWIH's core values and business philosophy effectively through copywriting, layout design and overall structure, the report gained recognition from the international panel of judges, and was the only winning annual report in that category. The cover of the report is graced with Marinella, a signature project of the Group, to highlight KWIH's expertise in building niche and exquisite projects. KWIH was once again awarded the Top 10 Developers Award by BCI Asia. The annual BCI Asia Top 10 Awards recognizes outstanding developers and architectural firms in seven Asian territories including Hong Kong and Singapore. Over the years, KWIH has been committed to developing exquisite and niche projects, while fulfilling its responsibility of a corporate citizen by incorporating environmentally friendly designs and cutting-edge energy-saving facilities into numerous projects.

KWIH was awarded the Best CSR & Environmental Responsibility in the 4th Asian Excellence Awards organized by a renowned magazine, Corporate Governance Asia. The awards recognized KWIH's contribution to charity, education, promotion of arts and culture and environmental protection.

KWIH has been named "Manpower Developer" in the 5th ERB Manpower Developer Award Scheme, organized by the Employees Retraining Board ("ERB"). This is in recognition of the Group's efforts and commitment to training and development, fostering a learning culture, efficient resources planning and effective management. Dr Lui Che-woo, Chairman of K. Wah Group, was named the Entrepreneur of the Year at the 4th Asian Awards on 4 April 2014 in London, the United Kingdom, in recognition of his achievement in business development. The award was also a testament to his pursuit of innovation and excellence, exceptional leadership and acute business acumen.

Marinella, KWIH's residential project, has achieved the Platinum Rating of Final Assessment under the BEAM Plus NB V1.1 of the Hong Kong Green Building Council on 24 March 2014, in recognition of its unique and sophisticated lifestyles and eco-friendly architecture.

Dr Lui Che-woo, Chairman of K. Wah Group, received the most honoured Outstanding Contribution Award from the esteemed international industry peers as an Asian entrepreneur at the International Gaming Awards ceremony. During the ceremony, Dr Lui thanked the commitment of all staff members that brought about the success of the Group.

KWIH was presented the IFAPC Outstanding Listed Company Award 2013 on 28 November 2013 by The Hong Kong Institute of Financial Analysts and Professional Commentators (IFAPC). Formed by renowned stock analysts and commentators, the award scheme aims at commending those HK listed companies that have outstanding performance in investor relations and transparency every year, improving operational performance of the listed companies and strengthening transparency of the financial market, so as to solidify Hong Kong's position as an international financial centre.

KWIH was awarded the Top 10 Comprehensive Strength for Medium Enterprise at Top 100 HK Listed Companies 2013 on 18 November 2013. The award scheme is jointly organized by major financial information providers Finet Group and Tencent Holdings. Over 1,000 HK-listed companies were assessed by respected academics and stock commentators based on five major financial indicators covering market capitalization, net profit, turnover, dividend yield and return on equity.

The K. Wah Group corporate video has garnered the Bronze Award in the Corporations - Stakeholder Communications category at the 2013 Questar Awards in the USA. The judging panel commended on the video's content, creativity and presentation.

KWIH was awarded one of the 52 Hong Kong listed companies receiving 2013 Best Investment Value Award for Listed Companies. Organized by a number of financial service providers, the awardees were selected based on their financial results in 2012, dividend yield, discount to asset value, growth potential and stability of business model, by a panel comprising stock commentators, analysts and fund managers.

KWIH has been honoured as first runner-up under the category of "Hong Kong Best Mid-Cap" in Asia's Best Companies 2013 Poll by FinanceAsia, an authoritative financial publication. The Poll is compiled from ratings conducted by investors and analysts in the region.

Shanghai Westwood, a KWIH project in Shanghai, was awarded the Best Eco-friendly Community of Shanghai 2012 by the Shanghai Municipal Housing Authority in April 2013.

The Palace, a KWIH project in Shanghai, was named the Most Anticipated International Community of Shanghai by Dong Fang Daily in March 2013; while its Plot B was recognized as Best Eco-friendly Community of Shanghai 2012 by Shanghai Municipal Housing Authority in April 2013.

Dr Lui Che-woo, the Group Chairman, was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his contribution to the hotel industry at the 13th China Hotel Golden Horse Award Ceremony.

Upstream Park, a KWIH project in Shanghai, was awarded with Most-preferred Property of Shanghai by Today Property in January 2013.

Dr Lui Che-woo, Chairman of K. Wah Group was honoured with Grand Bauhinia Medal (GBM) by the HKSAR Government, in recognition of his long and distinguished community service and philanthropic affairs, particularly his significant and generous donations in the areas of medical care, arts and culture, disaster relief and other charitable causes.

Marinella, a KWIH project in Island South, has achieved the Platinum Rating of Provisional Assessment under the BEAM Plus NB V1.1 of the Hong Kong Green Building Council in 2012. This recognition acknowledged the effort KWIH paid on green construction and management.

J Metropolis, a KWIH project in Guangzhou, has become Property of the Best Potential 2012 and Most Anticipated International Community of Guangzhou 2013 by Sofun.com, and Tencent.com and New Home Culture Research Institute respectively.
